5 Star Hotels

Traveling has a tendency to be one of the things that most people will say they need to do more of.  People like to see different parts of the world from where they live.  They want to visit mates and relatives that are found in different areas, and travel is one way of taking a break from the routines of day by day life.  Though travel is looked at as a favourite thing to do when on holiday, it does have many pressures related to it.

There’s a great deal of planning that goes into traveling.  If it’s a family vacation you must agree on what destination you will go to.  You also need to decide on what method of transportation you will be using.  If you aren’t driving you must make reservations and for most people, find the hottest deal so it is not too expensive.  Over night accommodations must also be booked.  Some folks feel that they need to stay in 5 star hotels when they are traveling.  These are top of the line hostels that have been given the highest ratings, and the sometimes have a high cost to go along with this rating.  The five star hostels are rated in different categories.  The high rating many not always mean they have the most amenities ; some times that rating is given as the hotel is on the historical register and has been well looked after.  The five start hotels usually specialise in service for their guests.  Small touches that are welcoming or cosseting in nature.  This is great, however probably not needed if you are traveling on the cheap.  For the general public a hotel room is a space that little time is spent in, especially if you are on a sight seeing holiday.

For my hubby and me we look for the essentials.  Queen or king size beds, coffee makers in the room, air conditioning and non-smoking rooms.  As long as the rooms are clean and there are fresh towels we need just a little else.  We have reserved rooms in five star hostels during the past.  We enjoy the decorations and furnishings, but to us it seems like a waste of money when all we essentially do is sleep and shower and change clothes.  We aren’t ones to spend any period sitting around in a hotel room.  We would rather spend less money on the hotel and more money on fine dining or sightseeing.  The ratings for most hostels are listed in travel guides.  Most destinations have chamber of commerce’s or tourism offices that may give you suggestions for local accommodations.  I suspect that endorsement of an individual that lives in the area beats a star rating given out by an organization.

Dublin has a large number of 5 star. Clicking on the next link will display some world famous 5 star hotels but there are plenty of other more modestly priced ones for the rest of us on the www.dublin-hotel-bookings.co.uk web site.
